4. Seema Sadekar – Interview!
Seema is like a mirage, rising out of the sand outside of Vegas. This former UNLV golfer is now an up and coming pro golfer. She and her big sis run PlayGolfDesigns. It is arguably the coolest golf related site on the net. We matched her up against Perry for one very specific reason…..Perry and Seema were high school roomates…. HOT!

Seema, tell the InGameNow readers about your background?
I’m from Toronto Canada, but now I live in Las Vegas. My parents are from Mumbai. I was born in Toronto and I’ve only been to India once, in 1992, my whole family went and I got to meet all kinds of family. I know it has really evolved over the last 10 years and I can’t wait to go back. I’m going this year in March to play in the India Open, so it should be fun – See the family and play some golf. I have 2 cats, Juicy and Prada and I am generally not materialistic;)
Tell me about Perry, your first round opponent and HIGH SCHOOL ROOMATE.
Oh my God, we were partners in crime- I mean honestly, Perry and I were connected at the hip, we were inseparable.

Are you going to completely whore yourself out to take her down?
Yea. I mean I don’t think I have a choice at this point. You want it? You go and get it right? So if it requires me to wear a push-up bra and walk around in a really cute dress, well then hey- that’s what I have to do Jack.
Your girl Tina Miller has basically accepted that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to win.
Yeah, I know. Tina is Paris Hilton and I am Kim Kardashian, and we are BFF’s.
Do you have any good Perry stories…. Things we can blow her up about?
I gotta think- this was 6 or 7 yrs ago. I have a bad memory…. Perry (haha) we lived in a dorm and there were 7 girls. We were never allowed to have guys come into our room and they were really strict, so Perry and I had to talk to the boys on outside on the steps. We were young and we did stupid things like tear the last few chapters out of the novel that our dorm staff lady was reading to get her mad. It was all really childish, but at the time we thought it was pretty hilarious. Perry and I had so much fun together even though we weren’t allowed to do anything, we made the best of our time.
Are you guaranteeing a victory over Perry in the first round?
Ummm, I mean, no, she’s blond, she’s beautiful, she’s competition for sure.
Who’s a better golfer?
Oh, ouch. I can’t say- oh my gosh- she’s going to read this, and you’re going to make us enemies. I would say we’re tied. We’re both great ball strikers, but I always like to think that I’m two steps ahead.
Are you both w/in a stroke or 2 of each other- and it comes down to the day?
When it comes down to it, I think I’m an amazing golfer- so however you want to put that.
If you two are playing one-on-one, and it comes down to hole 18, who’s got the mental edge?
I’m going to win. I’m going to beat her. I’m not gonna lie.
What are your goals for 2009- where do you see yourself professionally?
I’ve been working with an amazing golf coach, Vick Wilk, he’s a former PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour player. We’ve been working a lot on my short game. I’m a great ball-striker I hit the ball a ton, so just working on my mental game and my short game. my card for the futures tour & dominating on the LPGA tour.
Is your ultimate goal to play and do well on the LPGA tour?
To win and have a career on the LPGA Tour, and look fabulous while doing it!
Is there any special people that have helped you get this far in your career?
My Parents and my sister Nisha really give me support and create a lot of opportunities for me. VTech has stuck with me as my title sponsor and they are truly an amazing company to represent – and we have cool phones all over the house!!!
