Reese Zoppelt is the spark plug of the Miami Caliente’s Defense. This 110 lbs. pit bull will be playing in the LFL’s Lingerie Bowl. Reese sat down for a quick interview with InGameNow, we threw in some Reese Zoppelt pictures for you to enjoy.
InGameNow: So, Reese, what position are you playing for Miami?
Reese Zoppelt: Every girl has been training in different position. We definitely know Aimee Maggio will be QB. The rest of us girls have been training in different positions for different plays. The lineup may change depending on play. BUT I LOVE LOVE LOVE TACKLING!
IGN: Ok, I can never ask girls this, give me your height/weight.
Reese: I’m 5′5″ & 110 lbs. I’m trying to eat more proteins & trying to gain a bit more muscle now for the Lingerie Bowl to look really fit. I am drinking tons of water, & absolutely no alcohol for me!
IGN: To be 5′5″, you have to be dedicated.
Reese: No, its genetic. My dad played football for the Army. My mom was a dancer, she was a ballet dancer.
IGN: How come all your myspace pictures are in black and white?
Reese: They’re different shades of grey, actually… Which defines me b/c I’m different shades of grey. I’m not totally black & I’m not totally white. I’m 20 million shades & then some. ;o)
IGN: How have you enjoyed being in the LFL?
Reese: I love the girls on my team!!! We’ve become more like sisters than teammates. We all look out for e/o. My captain, Stella Vidal, is absolutely amazing. We all love her, & she’s really been the best thing to ever happen to this team. I love the excersise. I love being competitive.
IGN: SO, you are 5′5″, 107 lbs., will you be able to cause a wardrobe malfunction on on of the Tampa running backs, when you tackle them?
Reese: I have friends who fight in the UFC, & they’ve been teaching me some moves. So, I like to shoot! Also, Anthony Wollschalger from the University of Miami & my coaches have really stepped it up in helping me on my tackling game.
IGN: Know the rear naked choke?
Reese: YES I DO! Thanks to Cole Miller & Blake Bowman!
IGN: Whats your favorite UFC move?
Reese: I hate ground & pound! I think it’s boring. I love submissions! It’s sexy when a guy can maneuver his opponent to the ground & just submit him. However, I think, if a fighter can knock their opponent out using knees or kicks like Anderson Silva… Well, that’s just talent.
IGN: What do you think of Brock Lesnar?
Reese: I think it’s great that Brock doesn’t want to “pretend” to fight anymore, however, I hope Frank Mir beats him again & gets the title. Frank is a prime example of being able to beat Brock’s size a lot of the other heavyweights can’t seem to deal w/ like Randy Couture. If Brock fought Randy in his prime, he would have never won. MMA is a lot about leverage. Sometimes you get these tall skinny guys who can just take a serious beating, but have the talent & training that are far superior than to the bulk size of their opponent. It’s what the whole idea of JJ. Bulky guys run out of steam faster than the wiry ones. My favorite fighters would Forrest Griffin, BJ Penn, Quinton Jackson, Anderson Silva, & Amir Sadollah is hilarious!
IGN: You excited for the Super Bowl week?
Reese: I am so excited. Both of the teams I wanted to win, did. My Mom and Dad are both from Pittsburgh, so that was the best
IGN: Whats going to happen in the Lingerie Bowl?
Reese: I think we’re going to go out there & kill it. I think we have some of the most amazing players on the Miami Caliente Roster. I think Aimee is going to throw some amazing passes. Sometimes I just want to watch some of these girls play b/c they’re so talented.
IGN: You want to watch because they are hot or athletic?
Reese: They are amazing. We’ve got athletes on our team. Its just not lingerie models.
IGN: Who’s the best athlete on your team?
Reese: We have a lot of athletic girls on our team. However, I’d say Tina would be the most athletic b/c she can pretty play any position & be the best at it. She used to play for the women’s pro team when they had it. She’s unreal.
IGN: What are your thoughts on Reby Sky being dropped from Tampa?
Reese: I’m very sorry to hear that. I want to beat the best team possible.
IGN: Miami sounds close. How do you girls get along?
Reese: I virtually live with Liz and Aimee. All the girls are great. I have known Stephenie and Kaley for a long time, we all look out for each other. We stick together. We’re morelike sisters than teammates.
IGN: And, for the most part, the girls are cute.
Reese: That’s why we are Miami Calinente.
IGN: So, with that said, on your team, who do you have a girl crush on?
Reese: That is tough. Our entire team is smokin hot. I don’t know if I could choose just one. I love them all.
