You may have won today, but you’re upsetting everyone who’s not a Big Ten fan. You and your overrated conference is the reason why there isn’t a college football playoff and what do you do? You struggled against Ohio, a team you’ve haven’t lost to in over 80 years. To make matters worse, Ohio turned the ball over five times and you failed to amass over 300 yards.
If the powers-that-be are going to continually let you play for a national championship—even with one loss—the least you could do is rout teams like Ohio and prove you’re worthy.
So the next time you play a patsies (i.e., any team in the Big Ten), could you please play like a national powerhouse and not a FCS hopeful. Then again, your next game is against an actual contender, USC. If you thought Ohio was tough…
