Romeo Crennel, Rod Marinelli, Eric Mangini Get Black Monday’ed

Black Monday is just a few hours old and it already has three major victims:

- Coach Rod Marinelli of the 0-16 Detroit Lions
- Coach Romeo Crennel of the Cleveland Browns
- Coach Eric Mangini of the New York Jets

Eric Mangini is the really surprising fall here because he was so overrated for the last couple years – particularly amid the Spygate and Patriots vs. Jets feud.

Alas, during yesterday’s collapse to the Dolphins, the crowd chanted “Can-Gini”.

Remember when Crennel, Mangini and Charlie Weiss all coached for the successful Patriots? It didn’t work out well for each as they tried to make their own legacy.
