Leigh Teixeira Says Go Yankees

Apparently, Yankees fans not only have AJ Burnett’s wife to thank, but now they also should be thanking Leigh Teixeria for convincing this year’s best offensive free agent to come to New York. Mark Teixeira had plenty of money in several offers from teams, including the Red Sox who drifting in and out of rumors. Leigh, in fact, had made up her mind before the Red Sox visited on December 18th, allowing Mark to use Boston’s offer to entice the Yankees to make a higher offer. Maybe being a Yankee really is a family decision.
