LeBron James, Cavs Further From 70 Wins
4 Jan
Most teams would be celebrating a 27-6 record to start their season. Not to say that the Cleveland Cavaliers aren’t pleased with that, but they, and their fans want 70 wins. As of right now, the Cavs are on pace for a 67-15 record this season. Great record, but this season, it might not even be good enough to win the Eastern Conference. Right now that lead belongs to the Boston Celtics, who with a 29-5 record are on pace to finish 70-12.

The sixth loss this season came against the Washington Wizards Sunday 80-77. LeBron James had another great game with 30 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds. What is always remembered though are the last seconds of the game, where Lebron was called for a traveling violation with only 2.3 seconds on the clock. What makes this loss even worse for the Cavs is that the Wizards are in the Eastern Conference’s basement at 7-25 and should have been an easy victory.
Cleveland’s next game is Thursday against the Charlotte Bobcats.
