KryptoNATE Beats Superman Dwight Howard

15 Feb

While Dwight Howard tried to defend his slam dunk title from last year, Nate Robinson provided the “kryptonate” in what had to be the lamest slam dunk contest in years.

While the final showdown was full of spectacle, Howard shouldn’t've made it that far in the first place! His first dunk took like 8 tries and he still got a perfect score for it. After the first round, Robinson mysteriously left the floor–only to reappear in his Kryptonate green. Howard played up the Superman angle with a phone booth, but it was trying too hard replaying the Superman angle from last year. Nonetheless, they delivered. Superman even gave Robinson the assist acting as a human hurdle.

Controversy ensued when the video clearly showed Nate pushing off with his hand on Howard’s shoulder. But remember, Howard’s winning “dunk” last year was really a throw, so we’ll let it slide.
