Kentucky Basketbal Coach FIRED! Billy Gillispie Era OVER

The recruiting genius of Billy Gillispie is going to have to start over somewhere else……Kentucky has decided to fire him after a rough loss to ND in the NIT Tournament last night. Going from SEC coach of the year in 08′ to now being fired. I guess we can await the press conference and see what the story here is. As of now no specific reason for the actions and of course no comment from Gillispie as of yet.

Luke “The Duke” Harangody had 30 points and 11 rebounds while ND hit 12 three pointers which put an end to The Fighting Irish’s 10-game losing streak to KU. The final score was 77-67 Wednesday night where Notre Dame will now advance to the NITsemifinals.

Notre Dame is scheduled to square off with Penn State (25-11) Tuesday night in New York.
