GMAC Bowl: Tulsa vs. Ball State

In the final bowl game before the National Championship Game, the GMAC Bowl will feature Ball State University and the University of Tulsa. The game is played in Mobile, AL at the Ladd-Peebles Stadium and will be aired on ESPN at 8pm EST on Jan 6, 2009.

Tulsa is 10-3 on the season and lost to East Carolina University in the Conference USA championship game. This is the second straight appearance in the GMAC Bowl for Tulsa, which dominated Bowling Green 63-7 last year, which set a record for the largest margin of victory in bowl history.

Ball State lost its final game of the season in the MAC championship game to Buffalo, ruining its bid for an undefeated season.
