A: InGameNow is a sports fanatic's dream website. We're taking your thoughts and options about your favorite sports and teams to the next level and allowing you to chat live with other InGameNow fans. 100% of content is submitted by InGameNow users, thus you'll literally be in control of breaking news and sports commentary...content not found anywhere else on the web.

A: People who love sports and want to connect (or compete) with other people who love sports.

Q: How do I use InGameNow?

A: Gather your sport skills and thoughts and check out the How It Works page.

Q: Where does InGameNow get all that content?

A: The InGameNow users! We believe sports fans are sports experts and need an outlet to voice their opinions. Thus, the users contribute 100% of the InGameNow content. We also subscribe to RSS feeds from sports sites and blogs that we feel will enhance the user experience.

Q: What rules are there?

A: You're responsible for your own actions on the site, and the community determines what constitutes inappropriate behavior. Your content may be flagged as inappropriate, removed, and may ultimately result in termination of your InGameNow account.

Q: How do I flag inappropriate or spam content?

A: If you see and/or read something that is inappropriate or spam, simply give a thumbs-down rating and select 'inappropriate' or 'spam' as to why you flagged the content.

Customizing InGameNow

Q: How can I customize my InGameNow account?

A: Choose your favorite sports, teams and users in "My Account" or click "Add to Favorites." This will allow you to customize your sports experience and help you easily track news, comments and conversations that are important to you.

Q: How can I read content?

A: You can choose to receive InGameNow content via the website, you personal email, SMS, WAP and/or Instant Messaging. Feel free to change your profile information at any time. In addition, you'll be able to control how InGameNow and other users communicate with you.

Q: What are Fans and Favorites?

A: By adding other InGameNow users as "favorites," you will appear on their pages as a "fan." Your News Feed tracks the activity of your favorites, including their articles, comments, photos, sports teams and their personal tagged "favorites." When users add you as a "favorite," they will appear on your personal page as a "fan."

Posting Content

Q: What kind of content can I post?

Post news and commentary on leagues, conferences, teams and in-game action.

Q: How do I make a post?

Select a specific league, conference, team or game. Start typing your commentary in the 'What do you say?' box. Select whether it is 'General Content' or a 'Game Update' and click 'Submit Query' when you're finished.

Rating and Scoring

Q: How does the scoring system work?

Scores are used to rank the top users. When you give a post a thumbs-up or thumbs-down, it will affect the score for the user who posted. On each sport and team page, the 10 highest-rated users are listed.

Q: Why should I rate articles with a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down"?

Rating articles helps us organize and display the best content. Also, the articles you rate with a thumbs-up will show up on your "Recent Activity" page.

Q: How can I get better scores and be a top user?

A: Post, post, post... and then post some more. Users who post the most original, insightful, and humorous content will tend to receive higher scores, thus being tagged as a top user.

How do I respond to another user's comment?

You can post a comment of your own in the same category, and begin your post with @username: (where 'username' is the username of the person you would like to respond to).
