Chris Beanie Wells Injured; Ohio State Football and Fans Agonize

Uh oh.

Chris Beanie Wells had a phenomenal start to the 2008 NCAA Football season for Ohio State… and then everything fell apart. He had 13 carries for 111 yards before injuring his foot and being taken out of the game. X-Rays were negative but this is very bad for Ohio State Football and for Beanie’s Heisman hopes. A foot injury can be quite complicated and is particularly tough for guys relying on speed and cutting.

Meanwhile, fans at Michigan cracked a bottle of whiskey open in celebration.
