Sandra is in a great mood. Her Alma mater (Florida) just dominated the Georgia Bulldogs. Sandra had a breakout year on the LPGA this season, leading all women in eagles. Sandra is the perfect combo of athletics and beauty.

How much did you enjoy Gainsville? I enjoyed it very much. Being a Gator, its being part of a big family, we all stick together very much. I love the campus.

What is more exciting, the Women’s US Open, or the Swamp on game day? That is a funny question. I have to be honest, the Open.

So you live in Orlando, how often do you go over to Bay Hill and play with Arnie? Every Week, I wish. I haven’t played bay hill. I really want to meet Tiger

How many rounds could you drink with Tiger? I could do 2 or 3, then I would be really funny. Doesn’t take much for me.

Suppose your agent comes to you and says Playboy wants the W7 to do Playboy, and all the other girls have agreed to do it. Playboy will only do the shoot if all 7 girls agree. Do you do it? I would just diplomatically like to answer that on hypothetical questions I won’t give a hypothetical answer!

You are into Dancing and wake boarding. Can you jump the wake? Yes, I can.

What is your best trick? Jump wake, ride wake, go goofy foot.

When was the last time you danced on a table or bar? A while ago, I did last year in Italy.

Vegas bad girl Kim Hall is a former Stanford golfer. Now on the LPGA, she has been making her way as a pro golfer. One of the most attractive girls on tour, Hall is a potential Cinderella story as a #6 seed.

If you agent came up to you, and said that Playboy wants the W7 girls to do a shoot. The only restriction is that all the girls must do it. The other 6 girls have said yes. What do you do?
I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT AGREE TO IT. HAVING SAID THAT, I DON’T THINK WE’LL EVER HAVE TO GO DOWN THAT ROAD BECAUSE KNOWING THE REST OF THE GIRLS, THEY WOULD NOT AGREE TO DO PLAYBOY.

A fellow Cardinal, Michelle Wie, has been very controversial. Do you think she should drop the men’s tourneys and concentrate on winning ONE women’s tourney?
IT’S REALLY UP TO HER, ULTIMATELY. I THINK SHE HAS ALREADY MADE MORE OF AN EFFORT TO GO THAT WAY. SHE IS CURRENTLY PARTICIPATING IN QUALIFYING SCHOOL TO EARN HER FULL STATUS ON THE LPGA, INSTEAD OF RELYING ON EXEMPTIONS. IF SHE CONTINUES TO GET INVITES TO MEN’S EVENTS, IT’S NOT NECESSARILY A BAD THING TO PLAY. SHE MIGHT DO WELL, AND THAT JUST MAKES MORE FANS COME TO WATCH HER AT AN LPGA EVENT AS WELL.

Stanford has an above average athletic department. Do you feel Cardinal pride?
DEFINITELY!!! THAT WAS ONE OF THE REASONS I CHOSE TO GO THERE…THEY ARE AN ABOVE AVERAGE ACADEMIC PROGRAM WHICH WAS ALSO WHAT I WANTED OUT OF MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE. EVERYONE AT THE SCHOOL HAS A LOT OF PRIDE IN EVERYTHING THEY DO…SO IT’S A GREAT ENVIRONMENT TO BE IN.

Has being part of the W7 brought back a sense of “team” that you feel in college, as opposed to the individual ways of the Tour?
A LITTLE BIT. COLLEGIATE GOLF IS SUCH A UNIQUE DYNAMIC…I DON’T THINK YOU CAN REALLY GET THAT AGAIN. HOWEVER, IT’S REALLY NICE TO KNOW ALL THE GIRLS OF W7 ARE ROOTING ONE ANOTHER ON. WE ALL HAVE A VESTED INTEREST IN THE SUCCESS OF THE GROUP, PLUS IT’S NICE TO HAVE A “FAMILY” OUT ON TOUR WHEN WE ARE AWAY FROM OUR REAL FAMILIES.
