2008 Heisman Odds: Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy & Tim Tebow

Folks – the oddsmakers kept the 2008 Heisman Odds behind closed doors until late last night – but now Sam Bradford has jumped to a remarkable favorite with 1/4 odds. I am amazed that Tim Tebow is not the favorite considering the Big 12 quarterbacks (Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford) will likely eat each other’s votes and leave Tebow (certainly worthy of the Heisman by the way) as the winner.

Colt McCoy as a 3:1 odds isn’t bad either. My money with these odds would go heavily on Tebow, then on McCoy and not at all on Bradford. Putting $4 down to win $1 is ludicrous with no clear cut favorite.
