10 Hottest Actresses in Sports Movies

Several characteristics make a true sports movie: a lovable underdog, an unbeatable opponent, maybe some slapstick comedy, and at least one smoking hot babe as a supporting actress. Sometimes Hollywood will try to pass off a chick flick under the aegis of sports (Jerry Maguire) just to make it palatable for males. They don’t count. We at IGN compiled who we think are the hottest chicks to ever grace the silver sports screen, because watching them made us feel the way R Kelly probably did when he saw Hayden Panettierre in Remember the Titans.
10. Leslie Bibb as Carley Bobby in Talladega Nights
I wanted to put the Talladega Nights knockout higher, but she was not deserving of being #1. As the Great Ricky Bobby once said, “If you ain’t first, you’re last. You know, you know what I’m talking about?” We do Ricky, we do. Therefore we had to put Bibb in last place (which is still very respectable on this list)

9. Lori Loughlinas Christian Hollings in Rad
Most people who surf the net are too young to remember the BMX movie RAD. It is a questionable sports movie about a questionable sport, staring Uncle Jesse’s wife, Lori Loughlin. While the movie is sub par, Lori is ultra hot in it. While the movie was released 22 years ago, before most of you were born, Lori has aged like a fine wine. While we hate most of her work (i.e. Full House, the new 90210) it is undeniable that she is one of the hottest 44 year olds in the world.

8. Ali Larter as Darcy Sears in Varsity Blues
Whipped Cream Bikini. Is there anything else that really needs to be said? Oh yeah, one of the better quotes in movie history….. Ali Larter, while sitting on top of a wash machine, tells the teams QB, “I think I need to be your wide receiver.”

7. Eliza Dushkuas Missy Pantone in Bring it On
Cheerleading is not a sport??? You’ve got to be kidding me. No, seriously, Eliza Dushku is a 10 in this movie. Her performance was so hot, the movie survived having Kristen Dunst cast as the lead. If more high school cheerleaders looked like Eliza, R. Kelly would definitely attend more high school sports (while deserved, that comment was probably inappropriate).

6. Jessica Bielas Tenley Parrish in Summer Catch
If this was a most over rated actress contest, Jessica would probably win. It is unfortunate that a great sports league like the Cape Cod Baseball League was tarnished with her acting. However, while her acting was unimpressive, Biel was smoking hot in this movie.

5. Rene Russo as Lynn Wells in Major League
Major League was one of the biggest sports movie successes of all time. Made for just $11 million, it grossed well over $50 million. With an allstar cast of Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen, Wesley Snipes, Dennis Haysbert, and Bob Uecker, this movie was destined for success. Rene Russo was outstanding in the movie. A+ scene where Berenger tears Rene’s skirt off in the Library. My only question, when filming this movie, who was the first to get to third base with Rene, Snipes or playboy Charlie Sheen.

4. Cameron Diazas Christina Pagniacci in Any Given Sunday
This film was released when Cameron was still hot (1999). She plays the NFL’s “Miami Shark’s” owner. If you are into domination, I can’t think of a better fantasy than a rich, hot, opinionated NFL owner like Diaz.

3. Kate Bosworth as Ann Marie Chadwick in Blue Crush
Why award the bronze medal to Blue Crush? Easy. It is the best surfer movie of all time, and Kate Bosworth is by far the hottest she has ever been, or ever will be, in this movie. While the only other surfing movie we have watched stared Keanu Reeves (not a good thing), it is undeniable that Bosworth is a 10 in this movie. One thing that is easily missed, Lost’s Michelle Rodriguez is in the movie, and doesn’t look too scary. Hard to notice when you are staring at Kate the entire movie (point of irony, easy to miss Rodriguez in Lost when you are looking at Kate)

2. Kathy Ireland as Lucy Draper in Necessary Roughness
Kathy Ireland is stunning as a soccer player turned college kicker. Necessary Roughness is not a great movie, but Ireland makes you forget that. While we only see a sliver of skin in her shower scene, it is still good enough to earn Kathy a silver medal.

1. Cindy Morganas Lacey Underall in Caddyshack
It is only fitting that the best sports movie of all time has the hottest sports actress of all time. Cindy Morgan plays the very lovable Lacey Underall. While Morgan delivers some of the better quotes in the movie (Would you like to tie me up with some of your ties, Ty?) It is her willingness to go topless that allowed her to topple the competition. Winner, Cindy Morgan, in a landslide.
